Senior Sales Executive

As a Senior Sales Executive within HOMELINK, you will drive business growth through strategic business development and selling efforts to close high-value sales in the healthcare and workers' compensation industry. You will sell HOMELINK's full line of products and services to insurance carriers, third party administrators, employers and other payers across HOMELINK's operating territory. Experience and connections within our industry are key to success in this role. As a driver of revenue growth, you will leverage your network and market knowledge to identify opportunities for prospecting, deliver tailored solutions to clients, and close deals.

Reporting Accountability: VP of Sales - HOMELINK

Working Hours: Full-Time, 8am-5pm, 40+ hours per week (travel is to be expected)

Working Location: Remote (travel is to be expected)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Consistently pursue revenue growth opportunities through strategic prospecting, leveraging of established and new networks, and implementing effective sales initiatives
  • Identify and target high-potential prospects, develop customized approaches to sell HOMELINK, and expand the client base by closing sales
  • Lead the full sales cycle - from initial contact to final negotiation - consistently closing sales deals that contribute to top-line growth
  • Build trust-based business relationships with companies within the workers compensation insurance and healthcare industries, targeting C-Suite leaders and influential decision makers
  • Surpass sales targets and KPIs through relentless sales execution, strategic thinking, having a hunter mentality and a results-oriented mindset
  • Maintain a robust and active sales pipeline, ensuring consistent activity, communication, and forecasting
  • Conduct research in pertinent geographic territory to identify leads to pursue, identify trends in the industry, and capitalize on that knowledge to stay competitive and close sales
  • Attend/exhibit at conferences and trade shows
  • Pro-active sales activities including: cold calling, networking, relationship building, contract negotiation, following up, closing and implementation of new clients
  • Act as a liaison between prospects/clients and HOMELINK operations
  • Participate in sales training sessions
  • Follow strict confidentiality and HIPAA privacy and security guidelines
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Key Qualifications:

Education/Experience:

  • 10+ years of successful experience working in high-value B2B sales, in healthcare, insurance, managed care, or workers compensation
  • 10+ years of proven success closing high-value sales and implementing strategic B2B selling initiatives to the C-Suite level
  • Proven success and an established network within the workers compensation insurance industry, preferably in a sales driver or business development role
  • Experience with the workers compensation industry is required
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Must comply with continuing education per Company, regulatory, contractual, and accreditation requirements

Skills and competencies:

  • Ability to quickly leverage an established network to close high-value sales in the healthcare, insurance, managed care, or workers compensation insurance industries
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, constantly changing environment
  • Exemplary communication and relationship building skills
  • Ancillary Healthcare, Home Medical Equipment, and/or Workers' Compensation Industry market knowledge

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to travel 25-50% of the time
  • Working at a physical desk, moving about the office and facility as needed for work
  • Operation of office machinery and equipment
  • Visual abilities to include reading, distance vision and peripheral vision

Compensation Overview: The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad range of salaries for this role across the country. The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment. Total Compensation is comprised of base salary, commission based upon closed sales opportunities, and performance bonuses. Employees are also eligible for our comprehensive compensation and benefits program, including employee ownership and work perks.
