1st Shift: 6:30am-5:00pm
Job Summary Responsible for machine operation and crew in a light industrial setting. Must manage machine team to ensure proper and safe operation of assigned equipment. Responsible for quality, output, and meeting production goals. Additionally, fulfills the job duties of a Production Technician 1 and 2 as required.
Key Duties/Responsibilities
Education High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)
Experience 3-5 Years related experience Basic computer experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Ability to multi-task. Demonstrates ability to line lead or crew lead for one (1) machine. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment (varying upon equipment). Attention to detail. Effective communicator (share equipment knowledge, quality, and safety concerns). Ability to troubleshoot machine problems. Mathematical skills and advanced skills in production reports. Basic computer skills, technical skills may vary based on the equipment. Ability and knowledge to operate a pallet jack. Strong knowledge and understanding of machine and manufacturing operations. Ability to speak and communicate effectively utilizing the English language (preferred).
Equipment/Software Utilized Pallet jack Machine specific software
Communication and Contacts Lead, coach and maintain open communication with other production team members. Participate in the Team Business Meetings.
Decision Making Work prioritization to meet production commitments and goals. Machine staffing assignments. Machine processing speed.
Other Ability to work overtime, beyond regular schedule, to complete work assignments as required.
