The Warehouse Assistant supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring the proper handling, storage, picking, and dispatch of goods across frozen, chilled, and dry storage facilities. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory control, upholding safety and hygiene standards, ensuring timely handling of customer orders, and carrying out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor or executive.

• Order Accuracy – Ensure high picking, packing, and outbound checking accuracy (for both deliveries and self-collection orders) to minimize errors and customer complaints.
• Timeliness – Complete receiving, storage, picking, checking, and dispatch tasks within the required timelines.
• Inventory Control – Handle stock properly, ensure correct rotation (FIFO/FEFO), and promptly report discrepancies.
• Outbound Checking – Verify and confirm all outbound goods against delivery orders/self-collection slips before release.
• Safety & Hygiene Compliance – Follow warehouse safety rules, food safety, and hygiene standards for frozen, chilled, and dry goods.
• Equipment Handling – Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks) safely and responsibly.
• Housekeeping – Maintain cleanliness and organization in assigned work areas every day without fail.
• Teamwork & Support – Assist colleagues and supervisors in achieving daily operational targets.
• Ad-hoc Duties – Complete any additional tasks assigned by supervisors in a timely and reliable manner.
