What You Will Do
- Develop and identify and connect with prospective business
- Deliver strategic proposals and close long-cycle deals
- Build strategy – uncover decision makers and buying processes
- Set clear expectations with prospects
- Design solutions using internal ops, tech, and pricing support
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of processes
- Identify specific barriers that may exist, work with Customer Care team to resolve them
- Demonstrate alignment with King's culture of collaboration, longevity, and strategic thinking
- Document activity within the CRM and related tools
- Collaborate with all King personnel
- Perform other appropriate duties at the discretion of management
What Experience Is Required
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Communication, Marketing, Business Management, Logistics, or related field
- Minimum 5-10 years in complex, solution based transportation or supply chain sales (3PL, freight brokerage, managed TMS)
- Solid experience conducting discovery conversations and identifying logistics pain points
- Proven success in building tailored solutions – route optimization, modal shifts, managed freight, tech integrations – not rate based selling
- Must be comfortable leading longer, multi-stakeholder sales process
- Communicate positively & effectively, verbally & in writing – ability to build rapport quickly and authentically
- Ability to network effectively
- Effective sales skills (relationships, nurturing, closing)
- Exceptional presentation and general interpersonal skills
- Organizational and time management skills
- Familiarity with data analysis tools or TMS integration
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally on solution design
- CRM experience
- MS Office, PC and Mobile App experience

- Competitive wage - $65 - 90k base + commission
