The Vice President, Human Resources – Corporate & Global Functions serves as the strategic HR partner to GXO's global C-suite executives leading Corporate and global functions. This leader shapes enterprise people strategy for the assigned functions, accelerates leadership effectiveness, strengthens organizational capability, and ensures world-class HR partnership across the global function's portfolio. This role is pivotal in shaping the culture in those functions and supports Executive leadership to build high-performing teams to deliver on goals.

Position based onsite at our GXO facility in Greenwich, CT

25% travel nationally and internationally

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Experience

  • Progressive HR leadership experience as a generalist HR professional, holding senior/Executive HRBP positions
  • Proven success partnering with C-suite executives
  • Similar experience supporting Global functions/Corporate roles in publicly listed organizations, supporting global teams/agendas
  • Significant experience implementing AI within business functions, with a strong ability to translate AI strategy into workforce, talent, and organizational outcomes
  • Effective Matrix Management and leadership experience across borders
  • Good general understanding of European and US employment law
  • Experience in HR transformation across multiple geographies
  • Best practice in function / external marketplace

Education

  • BA degree or equivalent
  • Post graduate HR certification/degree (preferred)
