Packaging Planner

The Packaging Planner acts as the operational link between engineering and shopfloor operations. The role is responsible for preparing and maintaining packaging instructions, managing packaging data, and ensuring availability of packaging materials to support efficient and uninterrupted repacking operations.

Responsibilities:

• Creation and maintenance of visual packaging instructions to ensure correct and standardized packing of materials on the shopfloor
• Maintenance of packaging master data and documentation, ensuring packaging parameters and system entries are accurate and up to date
• Monitoring of packaging material consumption and stock levels, including initiation of material orders and reporting discrepancies between system and physical stock
• Support of packaging implementation on the shopfloor, ensuring packaging instructions are followed and collecting feedback for continuous improvement
• Support packaging trials and validation activities in cooperation with engineering
• Participate in continuous improvement activities related to packaging processes
• Support communication and coordination between engineering and shopfloor operations
• Maintain overview of packaging material locations and support periodic stock checks

Qualifications:

• Experience in logistics, packaging, or warehouse operations
• Experience working in an operational or shopfloor-oriented environment
• Experience with preparation of work instructions, process documentation, or operational procedures is an advantage
• Good understanding of packaging processes and material handling
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear operational instructions
• Attention to detail and structured way of working
• Ability to cooperate with engineering and operational teams
• Basic knowledge of MS Office
• Fluent in Czech and English, additional languages are considered an advantage
