Hours: Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

About the Role

The Ocean & Air Freight Forwarder will manage and execute both air and ocean freight shipments, ensuring reliable, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery across multiple transport modes. This is a hands-on operational role, ideal for a motivated freight professional with strong local market knowledge and end-to-end forwarding experience.

How You Will Contribute

• Coordinate import, export, and cross-trade shipments across air freight and ocean freight (FCL & LCL)
• Negotiate rates and capacity with airlines, carriers, NVOCCs, agents, and trucking providers
• Prepare, validate, and manage transport, customs, and shipping documentation
• Monitor shipment progress and provide proactive updates to customers and stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with international regulations, safety standards, and DP World procedures
• Generate competitive quotes and secure space reservations across air and ocean modes
• Manage special cargo, including hazardous, restricted, and time-critical shipments
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and external partners
• Contribute to process improvement, system optimisation, and operational excellence
• Support sales teams with market insights, pricing support, and upselling opportunities

What You Will Bring

• 3–5 years' experience in freight forwarding, covering air and ocean freight
• A DGR Certificate
• Strong hands-on operational background, ideally within a mid-sized or multinational forwarder
• Experience working with TMS systems, KPIs, and process improvement
• Demonstrated knowledge of multimodal logistics and end-to-end forwarding
• Fluent in Swedish and English
