Graduate Port Operations Team Member

Here at P&O Ferries we are seeking a Graduate to join our Port Operations Team here in Woking on a permanent basis. If you have a passion to gain exposure to core business activities, develop technical and professional skills, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives while working towards defined development milestones, then this role could be for you. Key Responsibilities and Duties

  • Support day-to-day operational and project activities within the department.
  • Assist in data collection, analysis and reporting to inform business decisions.
  • Contribute to cross-functional projects and collaborate with internal stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations, documentation and reports as required.
  • Participate in structured learning, training and development activities.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Build effective working relationships across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor's degree 2:1 classification (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline from a UK or Irish University
  • Relevant professional accreditation (or willingness to work towards).
  • Practical experience through placements, part-time work or relevant project work
  • Experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to manage time and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Location – Woking. This role operates Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week.
