Finance Director – Logistics

An exciting opportunity exists for a Finance Director – Logistics to join our leadership team during a period of significant growth and transformation.

Reporting to the Vice President Finance – Oceania (CFO), this role serves as the key commercial finance partner for our Contract Logistics (warehousing and distribution) and Landside Logistics (road and rail) business units, which together generate approximately $600m in revenue. The position will also play an important role in integrating the finance team of SILK Logistics, which we acquired in 2025.

A major focus of the role is leading the integration of the acquired business into the broader DP World operating and financial model. This includes embedding consistent planning, reporting, performance management, and commercial disciplines across the logistics portfolio.

On a day-to-day basis, the Director will drive financial performance, provide decision support, and contribute to value creation while working closely with executive leaders and operational teams. This is a senior FP&A-led role with a strong emphasis on commercial insight, forecasting, modelling, and strategic decision support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as the lead commercial finance partner for Contract Logistics and Landside Logistics, delivering insight, challenge, and strategic decision support.
• Lead the integration of the newly acquired business, aligning reporting, forecasting, governance, systems, and performance management frameworks.
• Own the full FP&A agenda across both business units, including budgets, strategic planning, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial modelling.
• Drive performance and value creation through clear analysis, identification of risks/opportunities, and initiatives that enhance profitability, productivity, and cost efficiency.
• Partner with Operations on key commercial decisions, including pricing, contract performance, capex, and investment evaluations.
• Develop and lead a high-performing finance team while ensuring strong governance, consistent reporting, and commercial agility across all business units.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• CPA/CA (or equivalent) with extensive senior finance experience in logistics, supply chain, transport, or complex operational environments.
• Deep FP&A and commercial finance expertise, including forecasting, financial modelling, and performance management.
• Proven experience leading integrations, acquisitions, or major transformation programs within complex businesses.
• Strong commercial partnering skills, operating as a trusted advisor to senior executives and operational leaders.
• Demonstrated leadership capability, with a track record of building, developing, and mentoring high-performing finance teams.
• Advanced analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills, ideally with experience across multiple business units and large ERP/logistics systems.
