HSE Manager
Key Responsibilities
1. HSE Management System Implementation
- Ensure compliance with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards.
- Support documentation, audits, and continuous improvement of HSE systems.
- Track and close HSE-related actions and non-conformities.
2. Safety Monitoring & Compliance
- Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company standards.
- Monitor permit-to-work systems and high-risk activities.
3. Incident Management
- Report, investigate, and analyse incidents and near misses.
- Identify root causes and ensure timely corrective and preventive actions.
4. Hazard Identification & Risk Control
- Facilitate hazard identification programs and ensure closure of reported hazards.
- Maintain risk registers and ensure mitigation measures are implemented.
5. Training & Awareness
- Conduct HSE trainings, toolbox talks (TBTs), and awareness sessions.
- Prepare and deliver impactful presentations using MS PowerPoint for safety campaigns, inductions, and management reviews.
- Promote safety culture initiatives and employee engagement programs.
6. Environmental Management
- Monitor waste management, emissions, and resource utilization.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.
7. Emergency Preparedness
- Support emergency response planning and conduct mock drills.
8. Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain HSE records, reports, and dashboards.
- Prepare data-driven reports using MS Excel (charts, pivot tables, trend analysis).
- Develop professional presentations and reports using MS Office tools for management review meetings.
Key Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and ISO standards
- Risk assessment and incident investigation skills
- Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong presentation and communication skills (ability to present to senior management)
- Data analysis and reporting capability
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science / Engineering / Safety / Industrial Safety
- 2–5 years of relevant HSE experience
- NEBOSH / IOSH / Diploma in Industrial Safety preferred
