Gate Operations Manager
Manage and supervise Gate In / Gate Out activities to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations.
Ensure minimum truck turnaround time and avoid traffic congestion at the gate.
Handle Import, Export, and Allotment documentation on a requirement basis.
Oversee Weighbridge (WB) operations and ensure WB calibration compliance as per statutory and operational requirements.
Plan and manage Gate & Weighbridge operator staffing, including training, upskilling, and shift availability.
Conduct regular toolbox meetings with Gate and WB staff to address safety, process adherence, and operational updates.
Coordinate with and conduct performance review meetings with vendors to evaluate service quality and compliance.
Resolve gate-related operational queries and exceptions on priority.
Maintain accurate records related to seal mismatch, container damage, scanning clean and mismatch cases.
Ensure adherence to SOPs, safety norms, and operational compliance at all times.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance gate efficiency and service levels.
Strong experience in handling gate operations and large operational teams.
Good knowledge of Import, Export, and Allotment processes.
Ability to manage high-pressure operational environments with strong problem-solving skills.
Effective communication and coordination skills with internal teams and external vendors.
Working knowledge of compliance, documentation accuracy, and operational controls.
