Credit Control Executive

We are looking for a Credit Control Executive to join our team in Istanbul, who will be responsible for overseeing credit management, receivables control, and administrative operations, ensuring healthy cash flow, operational efficiency, and compliance with company policies.

Your Responsibilities:

• Oversee the full credit control process including collections, reconciliations, and dispute resolution,
• Monitor customer credit limits and assess credit risk for new and existing clients,
• Ensure timely collection of receivables and take necessary actions for overdue accounts,
• Review aging reports and implement corrective action plans,
• Coordinate closely with Sales and Operations regarding customer accounts and payment terms,
• Handle escalated collection cases and negotiate payment solutions when required,
• Prepare AR aging reports, DSO analysis, and collection performance reports,
• Identify payment behavior trends and support risk mitigation strategies,
• Support month-end closing activities related to receivables and bad debt provisions,
• Oversee administrative operations across head office or branch offices,
• Supervise administrative staff and ensure efficient workflow and document control,
• Manage contracts, customer files, official correspondence, and compliance records,
• Coordinate office-related needs with internal stakeholders,

Your Profile:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field,
• 5+ years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable, preferably in logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain industry, including at least 2+ years in a team leadership or supervisory role,
• Strong understanding of logistics billing structures and commercial terms; Incoterms knowledge is a plus,
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills,
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills,
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution abilities,
• Ability to lead processes and guide teams effectively under pressure,
• High attention to detail with a structured and disciplined working approach,
• Strong sense of responsibility and decision-making capability,
