Inventory Management Position
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Monitor and control stock levels, ensure stock accuracy, conduct regular physical and virtual inventory audits, and reconcile discrepancies between physical counts and computerized records.
- Planning and implementing efficient inventory management policies and procedures.
- Implement and optimize warehouse processes for efficiency, develop procedures to improve workflows, and identify opportunities for improvement in space utilization and logistics.
- Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures.
- Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.
- Ensure accurate data entry and system usage for goods movement using WMS, SAP, or RFID systems.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in warehouse operations specializing in inventory management.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with WMS/SAP is an advantage.
- Experience in a third-party logistics (3PL) warehouse or distribution setting is often preferred.
- Must be willing to work in Port Klang Free Zone area.
