Job Description

The Vice President, Global OMS First Choice provides strategic direction, executive leadership, and governance to embed OMS First Choice as DHL Supply Chain's global operating system for productivity, performance, and operational excellence.

The role is accountable for translating OMS First Choice into measurable business impact, including productivity improvement, cost efficiency, margin enhancement, and service quality outcomes. Operating at the intersection of operations, performance management, capability building, and digital enablement, the VP ensures OMS FC is lived, sustained, and continuously evolved across all regions and operations.

Responsibilities

• Governing the deployment, maturity and sustainment of OMS First Choice in a pragmatic, outcome-focused way.
• Partnering with regions and operations to translate OMS First Choice into measurable value, including productivity improvement, capacity utilization, reduced performance variability and improved service quality to our customers.
• Challenging, prioritizing and shaping value creation opportunities through the effective application of OMS First Choice.
• Creating a people-centric environment that fosters engagement, capability building and continuous development, enabling colleagues to perform at their best every day.
• Embedding OMS First Choice as a leadership and engagement system, supported by strong routines, touchpoints and performance cadence.
• Driving fact-based, transparent performance dialogues and acting as a global challenger to surface gaps, size opportunities and ensure disciplined follow-up and accountability.
• Working with functional and digital teams to ensure OMS First Choice is digitally enabled, scalable and future ready.
• Supporting a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence and leadership-led execution across DHL Supply Chain.

Required Education and Experience

• A credible operator with the presence and confidence to influence Global and Regional COOs and senior operational leaders, required.
• Leads with inclusivity, builds strong teams and collaborative partnerships, and delivers impact in complex environments, required.
• A strong execution bias, focused on outcomes, value creation, and measurable performance improvement, required.
• Proven ability to drive global, multi-region performance agendas without direct P&L ownership, required.
• Extensive experience in operations, operations excellence, Lean / six-sigma, enterprise transformation, ideally within complex, global environments, required.
• Strong analytical capability, using data and performance insight to challenge, prioritize, and accelerate results, preferred.
