The Vice President of Information Technology – Transportation will help shape and execute the long-term IT strategy for DHL Supply Chain's North America Transportation business unit. This role is pivotal in driving digital transformation, enhancing service offerings, and positioning DHL as an industry leader through innovative technology solutions. As a key member of both the transportation business unit and IT Executive Teams, you will lead a high-performing IT organization dedicated to enabling sustainable growth and profitability.

Responsibilities include:

• Leading long-term IT priorities for DHL Supply Chain's North America Transportation Business Unit (BU), ensuring IT strategy aligns with BU objectives to drive sustainable growth and profitability.
• Possessing deep expertise in transportation management IT solutions supporting lead logistics providers, transportation fleets, and brokerage operations.
• Demonstrating experience implementing transportation management systems and collaborating with global IT support and development teams.
• Proven ability to lead teams deploying transportation technology platforms such as Oracle Transportation Management, MercuryGate, Blue Yonder, and Ortec.
• Serving as a key member of the BU executive team, actively participating in strategic planning and providing insights on technology trends that enhance the BU's competitive position.
• Functioning as a leader within the IT executive team, coordinating with regional and global IT to develop BU IT strategies aligned with corporate architecture, policies, and standards.
• Accountable for customer-facing IT services, including pre-sales support: defining requirements, designing IT solutions, articulating value, collaborating with pursuit workstream owners, and supporting customer presentations.
• Responsible for IT project delivery within the BU, encompassing new implementations, version upgrades, and operational enhancements. Ensuring compliance with global project management methodology and use of standard delivery tools and documentation.
• Ensuring adherence to DHL Group Information Security policies in all integration design, configuration, development, and deployment activities.
• Analyzing complex IT challenges and driving innovation to improve productivity, efficiency, revenue, and profitability through technology solutions.

Required Education and Experience:

• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in IT functions with leadership responsibility, required.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant supply chain, 3PL, logistics experience in IT functions with leadership responsibility, required.
• Manages and leads teams through expertise in all areas of the IT function, required.
