How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

  • Initiate and maintain scheduled contact with assigned customers at multiple contact levels
  • Analysis of customer needs & activity using potentially more complex sales/service solutions
  • Inform/sell new products, programs, & services.
  • Target & secure strategic long lane business
  • Facilitate annual, or as needed, uprates
  • Achieve established sales quotas & KPI's
  • Identify & secure automated shipping system opportunities at customer sites Develop & present proposals/quotes
  • Ensure appropriate width & depth within customer organization for DHL relationship
  • Present customer performance reviews on a scheduled basis
  • Maintain comprehensive customer profiles
  • Act as the liaison between customer and company resources.
  • Engage appropriate personnel as required.
  • Update management on competitive activity
  • Ensure Customer Management Relationship database is updated for Enterprise sales
  • Complete sales reports for management
  • Achieve established sales revenue quotas
  • Customer margins, volumes and suppressions managed in compliance with company standards
  • Meet pre-established performance standards i.e.: # of targeted customers, quality and # of targets closed; account profile

Do you have what it takes?

  • 8+ years of experience in logistics sales; or 10+ years sales experience
  • Verbal & written proficiency in English
  • Demonstrated ability to infiltrate senior customer levels and represent value
  • Excellent interpersonal communication & probing skills, high aptitude for follow-up
  • Analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of technology applications in business
  • Demonstrated drive, persistence & initiative
  • Implemented measurements & strategies to attain goals
  • Proven planning, organizational, time management skills
