Sales Senior Manager
DHL Express is looking for a Sales Senior Manager to join our Commercial Organization.
Based in (country/city), this position will be responsible for leading the commercial strategy, driving profitable growth, elevating sales execution excellence, and developing the team's capabilities to maximize business performance. This role plays a key part in strengthening pipeline management discipline, improving customer segmentation approaches, enhancing commercial effectiveness, and ensuring alignment with DHL Express global guidelines and commercial frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and execution of the national sales strategy, ensuring full alignment with global and regional commercial priorities.
- Manage and develop the sales team, ensuring strong capabilities in prospecting, negotiation, account management and deal closure.
- Strengthen pipeline discipline and forecasting accuracy through structured management of sales activities, trends, risks and business opportunities.
- Ensure proper governance and full compliance with commercial processes, policies, systems and audit standards across all sales teams.
- Drive customer acquisition, development and retention plans for strategic segments, maximizing value-based selling and profitable growth.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Finance, Marketing, Customer Service and regional/global teams to ensure a fully integrated and customer-centric commercial approach.
- Present insights, dashboards, KPIs and performance analyses to senior management, enabling high-quality decision making and commercial prioritization.
- Represent DHL Express in strategic customer meetings and external forums, strengthening partnerships and positioning the brand externally.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Administration or related fields.
- 7+ years of experience in sales leadership roles with proven success managing high-performing teams.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes, pipeline management and consultative selling.
- Proficiency with Salesforce and other sales tools, along with strong analytical and reporting capabilities (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Strategic mindset, strong influencing skills and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with ability to interact with senior stakeholders and key customers.
- Advanced English preferred.
