We are looking for a Sales And Marketing Director to lead, structure and further develop the national commercial strategy, with a strong focus on sustainable growth, increased profitability and the strengthening of competitive positioning. This role is responsible for driving customer base expansion and retention, maximizing efficiency in resource allocation, and ensuring full alignment between commercial strategy, financial objectives and DHL Global Forwarding's corporate guidelines.
• Define and lead the national commercial strategy, ensuring proper deployment, governance and delivery of sales objectives in full alignment with business strategy, financial targets and Group global guidelines.
• Lead and oversee highly strategic initiatives with significant impact on business results and a high degree of complexity and risk.
• Clearly and inspiringly communicate the company's strategic vision and market leadership positioning to customers and internal stakeholders.
• Drive customer acquisition and retention strategies, maximizing sales growth and optimizing profitability across the country.
• Sustain business growth by supporting customer strategies, leading complex contractual negotiations and guiding supply chain strategy development.
• Approve pricing policies, product mix decisions and brand portfolio management at national level.
• Identify improvement opportunities through advanced pipeline analysis, in partnership with Sales Effectiveness teams.
• Assess market trends, emerging technologies and industry movements, anticipating the need for change and evolution of the commercial function.
• Structure processes, systems and infrastructure that support growth, enhance commercial performance and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Act directly in the relationship with strategic customers, fostering collaboration, integrated solutions and cross-selling initiatives.
• Lead competitive intelligence systems, ensuring the dissemination of strategic insights and best practices.
• Implement robust commercial performance management mechanisms, executive reporting and governance of major strategic sales initiatives.
• Analyze complex topics and drive the continuous evolution of commercial methods, approaches and business models.
• Promote innovation with direct impact on how the organization operates, creates value and monetizes its solutions in the local market.
• Lead critical negotiations with customers and external partners, including highly complex scenarios with low convergence of interests and significant contractual implications.
• Lead, develop and inspire the national sales organization, building a high-performance team and ensuring sustainable succession.
• Negotiate strategic agreements and critical contracts with internal stakeholders and external partners.
• Build strong and trusted relationships with senior Group leaders and partner organizations.
• Act as an internal and external reference, influencing strategic decisions and representing the Group as a thought leader in the industry.
• Promote cross-functional collaboration and partnerships to deliver integrated, high value-added solutions.
• Lead multiple teams composed of executives, directors, senior leaders and managers.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, International Relations, Foreign Trade or related fields.
• Fluent English (written and spoken).
• Advanced Spanish.
