Payroll & HR Operations Executive

The Payroll & HR Operations Executive is responsible for the end-to-end execution of payroll and personnel administration for both DHL internal staff and outsourced employees. The role ensures total compliance with Egyptian labor and social insurance regulations while maintaining impeccable HR records and supporting employee wellness initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain HR operations in strict compliance with local labor laws and DHL internal policies.
  • Execute accurate and timely payroll processing for both outsourced and DHL staff across all Egypt locations.
  • Handle all personnel-related government documentation, including Social Insurance forms and Labor Office requirements.
  • Oversee the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, contract management, and resignation processes.
  • Maintain organized physical and electronic filing systems for personnel documents to ensure legal compliance and audit readiness.
  • Review and settle third-party staff invoices in line with contractual timelines.
  • Administer HR systems for attendance, leave processing, and employee record accuracy.
  • Manage inquiries regarding health and life insurance claims and coordinate medical programs.
  • Monitor and update the Conflict-of-Interest Dashboard to ensure organizational policy compliance.
  • Act as the central point of contact for external entities, including labor offices and medical providers.

Qualifications, Experience and Competencies

  • University Graduate: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field is required.
  • English Proficiency: Proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, specifically focused on payroll and personnel administration.
  • Governmental Expertise: Hands-on experience dealing directly with Social Insurance and Labor offices.
  • Technical Skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for payroll calculations.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Deep understanding of local labor laws and social insurance regulations.
  • Outsourcing Management: Experience managing the administration of outsourced staff is highly preferred.
  • Attention to Detail: Proven ability to ensure 100% accuracy in payroll and administrative tasks.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and the ability to maintain complex filing systems.
  • Communication: Ability to provide clear information and interface effectively with stakeholders.
