Responsibilities
Lead daily operations: Take full ownership of day-to-day activities, ensuring smooth execution across both system-driven and physical operations.
Drive performance: Inspire and guide the team to consistently achieve customer KPIs, targets, and service expectations.
Resolve operational issues: Respond promptly to all warehouse-related queries and challenges via email or written communication, ensuring timely resolutions.
Reporting excellence: Prepare and deliver accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on time, every time.
Plan & organize: Strategically manage daily operational planning to optimize resources and efficiency.
Inventory management: Maintain optimal inventory levels and ensure accurate stock checks and timely releases.
Quality assurance: Conduct daily spot checks on subcontractor performance and operational outputs; halt production if quality standards are not met.
Documentation control: Review and validate all documentation and reports prepared by subordinates, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Team communication: Foster open, two-way communication with management and ensure timely feedback from team members on operational challenges.
Compliance & standards: Ensure adherence to customer requirements, regulatory guidelines, ISO9001:2000, and OHSAS 18001 standards.
Audit readiness: Deliver strong results in internal and external audits through meticulous compliance and process control.
Continuous improvement: Facilitate process enhancements, training programs, and quality assurance initiatives to elevate operational standards.
QC oversight: Monitor production outputs at any stage, stopping activities if quality requirements are not met; maintain traceability of records.
Stock validation: Inspect and approve or reject repacked stocks before handover to the receiving team.
Process leadership: Champion the establishment, maintenance, and continual improvement of operational processes.
Ad-hoc excellence: Execute additional tasks and projects assigned by management within specified timelines.
Performance tracking: Monitor and report on quality assurance metrics to ensure consistent operational excellence.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics operations.
Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
Fluent in English with Mandarin as an added advantage, including the ability to converse confidently, read accurately, and write professionally.
Tech-savvy: Proficient in databases, spreadsheets, and word processing tools for tracking, analyzing, and communicating data. Skilled in creating accurate, timely reports and manipulating data effectively.
Clear communicator: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey ideas confidently and clearly.
Presentation pro: Capable of delivering engaging and impactful presentations to diverse audiences.
Leadership & supervision: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and guide teams toward achieving operational excellence.
