DHL Freight is one of Europe's largest providers of road transport and a specialist in smart, international and national logistics solutions. To accelerate our growth ambitions and strengthen our commercial organization, we are looking for a strategic strong, with in-depth knowledge of the Dutch and Belgian market Head of Sales.

In this key role you will lead the entire commercial column within DHL Freight Netherlands and Belgium: Key Account Management, Business Development and Inside Sales. You are responsible for revenue growth, customer satisfaction and further strengthening our market position in a competitive and dynamic sector.

You determine the commercial strategy within the Dutch and Belgian market and ensure seamless cooperation between Sales, Operations and BPM. You develop a clear vision, translate this into concrete commercial plans and ensure that your teams effectively execute them.

You combine strategic thinking with operational action and are visible to customers, partners and colleagues. You report directly to the CEO DHL Freight Netherlands and Belgium takes an active role in regional and international projects.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and implementing the commercial strategy for DHL Freight Netherlands.
• Playing a key role in further building our growth ambitions: strengthening our market share by proactively identifying opportunities, developing strategic initiatives and continuously strengthening our position in a dynamic and competitive market.
• Leading the teams Key Account Management, Business Development and Inside Sales
• Achieving sales, margin and growth ambitions.
• Strengthening customer relationships and developing strategic accounts.
• Optimizing commercial processes, performance management and customer experience.
• Identifying market trends and new opportunities, including sectoral innovation.
• Intensive cooperation with Operations, Finance, Marketing.
• Representing DHL Freight Netherlands and Belgium in regional and international projects.

You have at least 10 years of commercial leadership experience in the logistics sector, with a clear focus on transport, where your in-depth knowledge of the current market and customer dynamics is essential to further strengthen our commercial growth.

Strong track record in strategic account management and business development.

Experience in leading diverse commercial teams.

Coaching leader with a focus on development, collaboration and performance.

Analytically strong, decisive and comfortable in an international matrix organization.

Excellent command of Dutch and English. French is a plus.
