Job Responsibility:
Carriers/Suppliers
1. Capacity and allocation planning according to corporate policy and local requirements
2. Monitor carriers and suppliers' performances and work out corrective actions
3. Procurement and price management, negotiate trucking and container freight station (CFS) rates with best service provider available
4. Coordinate with carriers/suppliers to ensure smooth operations, proactively solving any problems during LCL operation process
5. Route Management adhere to internal and external suppliers, optimize existing routing and develop new service
6. Contribute to implementation of Business Development opportunities within country
7. Approve renewal and appointment of carriers / suppliers complied
8. Ensure correct invoicing from carriers and suppliers as last gate keeper
Business Operational Management
1. Apply & ensure efficiency & quality of Gateway booking centre teams performance
2. Manage and supervise Gateway booking centre team
3. Setting KPI requirement and ensure implementation
4. Facilitate and support branches' efforts in maintaining healthy relationships
5. Provide OFR technical expertise to other departments in cross-department activities/discussions
Port Authority/Customs Authorities and other regulatory agencies
1. Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies districts
2. Liaise with regulatory agencies to ensure operations comply with all regulatory requirements in districts
Marketing & Sales
1. Interact with marketing (at country level) in terms of pricing & space allocation
2. Interact with overseas' marketing & sales team on pricing matter
3. Drive commercial team in developing LCL opportunities to meet customer demands
4. Support on quotations in particular with tailor-made selling rates for important opportunities
Product Management
1. Defines, implements, monitors and enforces service and quality standards at district level in cooperation with product management
2. Analyses costs and cost structure of production on country level, and derives improvement measurements and actions
3. Take part of the annual planning process ensuring overall OFR develops, PnL Owner to achieve the budget
4. Responsible for constant improvement and optimization of production means
Finance & Projects
1. Responsible for the CN LCL product p/l
2. Manage and monitor the yield improvement plan
3. Develop BC growth plan
People Management
1. Responsible for operational management, Traffic management, Technical support (buying, capacity etc.) in district
2. Set OFR specific policies, standards and instructions in alignment with Global, Regional & Country OFR
3. Take part in defining and communicating targets to operational units on district/branch level
4. Support Customer Implementations of new customer solutions and processes
5. Communicate and monitor the deployment of regional and country policies and procedures, while allowing localization to meet local environment needs & requirements
6. Develop a culture of quality, service excellence, flexibility and cost consciousness
7. Develop a team spirit and multitasking capabilities within the team
8. Plan, organise and direct an efficient and effective function
9. Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance
10. Conduct performance appraisal, including coaching
11. Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of district objectives and targets.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree & above
2. Good command of English both in spoken and written
3. Experience of Freight Forwarding/Carrier/Supply Chain Management
4. 8-9 years & above working experience preferably in Freight Forwarding/Logistics Industry and at least 3-4 years management experiences
5. Good knowledge of OFR product, international trade, logistics. Adequate knowledge on OFR related legal, risk management
6. Good knowledge of OFR operation flow
7. Good knowledge of Gateway handling flow
8. Good knowledge of market intelligence
9. Good knowledge of vendor management
