Leads the IT Solutions' implementation and support team to ensure successful delivery, B2B/B2C integration mapping and ongoing support of the organization's IT solutions portfolio across internal and external customers.
Assign subject matter experts and self to work in the implementation of IT solutions to meet business requirements, including gathering requirements, selecting a solution, conversion of legacy systems and data, design solution, and training of IT operational & technical staff.
Prepares and submits implementation documentation in the form of solutions proposals, cost modeling (pricing), functional requirements for IT solutions development, training manuals, and supporting documentation. Other documents include customer background questionnaires, Project charters, customer acceptance documents, etc.
Works closely with IT project managers locally and regionally to ensure the right resources are allocated and perform according to project expectations.
Supervises, sets objectives for staff, appraises and supports subordinates to display high levels of individual and team performance to achieve department and customer objectives.
Work with business stakeholders at other business units and operations.
University Degree qualified in IT discipline
12+ years experience in logistics including warehousing and distribution and multimodal transportation business within a global organisation together with exposure to IT solutions development in macro environments.
Ability to work in various implementations of different sizes and budgets simultaneously within high pressure environments, effectively.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
Strong customer relationship management skills
