Field Sales Executive
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth within a designated geographical territory by maintaining relationships with existing customers, identifying and securing new business opportunities, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role is essential in meeting individual and organizational sales targets and upholding the service excellence DHL is known for.
Customer Relationship Management
- Manage a portfolio of existing and prospective customers through regular face-to-face visits.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients, coordinating with internal departments to resolve queries or issues.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships that foster customer loyalty and retention.
Sales Execution
- Conduct 6 customer visits per day with a sales activity mix of 40% acquisition, 30% development, and 30% maintenance.
- Formulate and implement a personal sales plan aligned with business goals.
- Drive new business acquisition while developing and retaining existing accounts.
- Ensure all deals adhere to pricing guidelines; seek management approval for exceptions.
Internal Collaboration
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and other internal departments to address customer concerns and enhance service delivery.
- Participate in monthly planning sessions with Marketing and Sales leadership to align on targets and strategies.
- Share market intelligence and customer feedback to support business development efforts.
Process & Performance Management
- Create and maintain an annual customer call cycle, reviewed quarterly and updated monthly.
- Track and analyze customer data to evaluate performance, identify trends, and take corrective actions when needed.
- Maintain accurate records of all customer interactions, agreements, and correspondence.
Information & Documentation
- Ensure all customer-related information is up-to-date and accurately recorded in the CRM system.
- Monitor fluctuations and trends in customer activity and provide data-driven insights to management.
Skills and Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales preferred.
- Dynamic and enthusiastic fresh graduates with strong sales aptitude will also be considered.
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
