Ensure the accurate preparation of import and export Customs declarations and timely provision for review.
Maintain customer databases and resolve specific disputes or provide advice on technical issues with customers.
Supervise the work of Customs Clerks to ensure efficient clearance of inbound and outbound shipments within performance targets.
Liaise with customs officials and other regulatory officials to comply with policies and resolve issues.
Build cooperative relationships with Gateway operations staff and provide solutions when necessary.
Strong communication skills (English), both spoken and written.
Thorough knowledge of Customs practices and procedures.
Analysis: Ability to break down problems and understand relationships between components.
Planning & Organizing: Set clear goals and efficiently achieve objectives.
Decision Making: Make timely choices based on accurate analysis.
3 years of relevant experience working with customs clearance matters within the transportation, logistics, or import/export industry.
