Pay Rate: £35,875 Grade: N Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time) Shift patterns: Monday to Friday Initially starting on Day Shift (08:00-16:30). Potentially moving to Afternoon Shift in near future Location: Birmingham

We're now looking for a EU Freight Planner!

A typical day may involve:

• Produce and maintain both strategic plans ensuring optimal solutions are achieved from both a cost and service level perspective
• Significant personal contribution towards optimisation activities that drive cost down solutions without affecting service levels.
• Data analysis to forecast future and retrospective volumes to assess impact to freight plans.
• Investigate operational challenges & data discrepancies and provide solutions in a timely manner
• Co-ordinate the planning solution activity, meeting both the customer & DHL business needs

This role would suit people who:

• Operational / Freight Planning background is essential
• Ensure all planning is executed within parameters of customer services levels
• Experience with Paragon or other planning systems would be desirable
• Good knowledge of data analysis
• IT literacy, with Microsoft Office packages, Excel.
