Dispatcher For Our Terminal In Bornem

DHL Freight Belgium is part of DHL Group and specializes in road transport. Think of: pallets with goods, by truck, from company to company. We are looking for an experienced dispatcher for our terminal in Bornem.

As a dispatcher, you will ensure the planning of loading and unloading of goods by drivers at customers within the dispatch team in Bornem. You are also responsible for the quality of this process.

You will efficiently and timely coordinate the pickup and delivery assignments for our customers based on the planning made by the planning team. You will optimize the deployment and working environment of the drivers, so that the process can run optimally, receive them within the warehouse and indicate at which gate they can load the shipment. You will take care of the administrative tasks for all shipments up to and including delivery to the customer.

You have prior experience as a dispatcher/expedient in a logistics environment. You are quick to understand new systems and MS Office. You have knowledge of regulations regarding the transport of dangerous goods. You have geographical knowledge. You know how to load a shipment correctly in a truck/van. You are communicatively strong in Dutch and French.

Contract for an indefinite period (possibly after a temporary period); meal vouchers of €9 per started working day; 30 days of leave per calendar year; 38-hour workweek; work schedule in a late (13h-21h/14h-22h) shift and the flexibility to switch between these 2 shifts.
