Senior Executive For Service Logistics Industry
The candidate will be a senior executive that can aggressively drive growth by engaging with new customers, existing customers, internal DHL stakeholders, and the industry as a whole. The scope of activity will be defined as the broadly defined Service Logistics Industry with a focus on the Semi-conductor industry and Japanese corporations. The candidate will also be given wide discretion to define his/her own target sub-sectors and customers. The candidate must use this discretion to independently design and implement his/her own sales strategy.
Develop strong working relationships with DSC Japan Sector Heads and Sector Teams.
Responsibilities:
Customer:
- Identify target customers with high success potential
- Conduct Research Meetings to identify customer Pain Points and how DHL can help solve
- Evaluate opportunity with internal stakeholders to determine ability to win
- Present and sell proposal and to show customer the value of DHL solution
- Remain up-to-date on customer's industry, developments in the market and potential competitors
External:
- Build relationships with multiple target customers to ensure a large pipeline
- Understand key developments in the logistics industry and the assigned sector to anticipate changes and help develop solutions
Internal:
- Cooperate and collaborate with Sectors and Functions to meet customer's requirements and expectations.
- Work closely with internal parties such as IT, procurement, Solutions Design and HR to develop a strong proposal to the customers.
- Problem Complexity:
- Most optimal solution for customer (price/quality/complexity)
- Work across functional to maximize the use of resources.
- Work closely with solution design to meet customer's requirements.
- Contract negotiation
