Director, Finance Controlling Transport

Make an Impact in Our Transport Sector

As a Director Finance Controlling at DHL Supply Chain, you will make a significant impact to our Transport business, as you drive transformational change. Leading a high-performing commercial controlling team, you will be responsible for managing budgets, forecasts, and results, in order to support the Transport team. Your responsibilities will include:

• Shape the strategic direction of financial operations in order to meet customer and stakeholder expectations
• Develop financial plans, budgets and forecasts to align with sector and company objectives
• Monitor and analyse financial performance to support decision-making processes
• Accurately manage financial results for local, regional and global reporting requirements and providing insightful commentary
• Support business growth via pricing and costing of new business, renewals and major projects
• Build an effective team culture to foster positive relationships across stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Professional accreditations, CA or CPA
• Proven experience within a similar, high volume, fast-paced role, ideally within the transport or logistics industry
• Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
• Sound knowledge of financial regulations, compliance requirements, and reporting standards
• Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop your team
