Job Purpose

We are seeking an experienced and visionary manager to spearhead our Data Center Logistics Solutions. In this role, you are expected to implement supply chain planning plans and processes to ensure capacity and inventory plans are established in conjunction with overall business plans and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies for transportation of Data Center related products.

Key Responsibilities

-Implement supply chain planning plans and processes to ensure capacity and inventory plans are established in conjunction with overall business plans and objectives, corporate guidelines and policies

-Coordinate with the team to develop supply chain planning process and implement efficiency improvements and manage the Planning team and Procurement team

-Schedule, prioritize and manage business processes for improving forecasting, inventory levels, service levels and inventory turns

-Direct and review lean initiatives from the Planning perspective to ensure the broad goal of overall supply chain is benefiting from the improvements

-Deploy best practices to analyze key metrics. i.e. On-time delivery, inventory efficiency

-Conduct day to day administration of business capacity planning process to forecast the capacity utilization and optimize the supply network

-Manage monthly demand forecast aggregation, including consensus between functions and stakeholders

-Conduct day to day administration of business processes to measure, control, and improve S&OP plan accuracy through clearly defined metrics

-Analyze and implement metrics for forecast accuracy, planning data integrity, and accuracy, performance, service and inventory metrics

-Analyze extensively network inventory including analysis of excess, slow moving and obsolete inventory

-Convince other subject matter experts to accept new concepts, practices, and approaches

-May cooperate with and coordinate 3rd parties e.g. external service providers

-Build strong, trusting cross-functional relationships with DHL managers

-Understand customer and key stakeholders interests and concerns and advise direct reports, customers and key stakeholders

-Provide technical guidance to line managers and employees
