Gateway Customs Ops Support
The main responsibility of the Gateway Customs Ops Support role is to ensure the smooth operation of the Customs Operational Process for Import and Export of non-community orders. It performs tasks related to reading and loading orders according to internal procedures, checking and handling cargo. It scans the documentation and ensures that the process runs without irregularities. It controls the warehouse and provides the necessary support to the physical import and export process to allow its fluidity and effectiveness. Initial on-job training is planned to ensure the success of the new team member and the satisfaction of our clients.
Requirements:
- 12th grade of schooling (preferred)
- Previous experience in operational support (manual handling of cargo) - preferred
- Familiarity with international import and export procedures (preferred)
- Driving license (ease of travel to the airport)
- Language knowledge: English (preferred)
- Experience in office and ease of adaptation to new computer systems
- Good time management / flexibility and availability / team orientation
- Commitment to excellence (professional pride, responsibility and liking to do things well)
