DHL Express Mexico is seeking a Network Cost Controlling Coordinator to work within the Network Planning and Optimization area of DHL Express Mexico.

Objective of the Position:

• Ensure the planning, control, optimization, and financial sustainability of the operational expenses of the air and land network, through rigorous budget management, strategic financial analysis, and timely risk control, allowing the organization to operate efficiently, profitably, and aligned with business objectives.
• The position is responsible for controlling the annual budget of the air and land network, as well as anticipating financial impacts derived from operational changes, variations in external variables (exchange rate, fuel costs, and service rates), in addition to translating the operation into reliable and actionable financial information for managerial and executive decision-making.

Your Tasks:

• Plan, develop, and control the annual budget of the air and land network, ensuring financial compliance during the exercise.
• Analyze and explain deviations between actual spending and budget, identifying operational and financial causes that impact business performance.
• Generate, validate, and present financial and operational indicators of volume and unit cost, as well as performance results at the managerial and executive level.
• Conduct strategic financial analysis in the face of new projects, operational changes, or alternative scenarios, evaluating their impact on business results.
• Promote cost optimization and operational efficiency, challenging Procurement and Suppliers, proposing savings initiatives, and validating their expected and real financial impact.
• Identify, evaluate, and communicate financial and operational risks, including impacts from exchange rates, fuel costs, and operational deviations, coordinating with Operations, Planning, and Finance.

Profile:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Industrial Engineering, or Accounting
• Experience: Leadership of work teams, administration of accounting records, dealing with suppliers, and other areas
• Microsoft Office, Intermediate Excel, SAP/AP/GET (desirable)
• English: Intermediate
• Analytical thinking
• High numerical ability
• Interpersonal and leadership skills (Leadership, excellent personal relationships, proactive and focused on follow-up, results-oriented, with a sense of ownership)
• Self-management and personal execution skills (Open to challenge and adaptability, high sense of urgency, work under pressure)
