Ensure the accuracy of accounting records and timely submission of all required reports to local governmental and tax authorities, as well as DHL regional institutions.
Act as an effective point of contact for DHL Accounting Shared Service Center (SSC) partners.
Coordinate the completion of internal control systems by country control owners.
Lead annual audits (both external and internal), prepare annual reports for local authorities, and oversee Transfer Pricing documentation.
Serve as a key contact for DHL tax and legal functions.
Instruct and monitor SSC activities, ensuring performance is maintained on a daily basis.
Prepare and submit monthly VAT, tax, and statistical reports to state institutions.
Manage annual reporting, inventories, and cooperation with auditors.
Prepare Transfer Pricing documentation in cooperation with the DHL Tax function.
Ensure the quality and accuracy of accounting records.
Prepare and submit evidence for ICON controls related to accounting.
Coordinate ICON control submissions within the country.
Ensure procurement process requirements are followed by country cost owners.
Participate in initiatives related to cost and process optimization within Finance and across the organization.
Higher education in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (preferred).
Proven experience in a similar senior accounting role.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in accounting systems and general IT tools.
Good command of English and Latvian; Russian is considered an advantage.
High sense of responsibility and understanding of the role's importance.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
