Due to team expansion, we are looking to hire a motivated and detail-oriented Air Freight Forwarder to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Logistics Planning & Air Freight Booking Plan and book shipments via DHL Hub and Sofia Airport, selecting the most efficient and cost-effective routes while securing cargo space with airlines.

• Documentation & Compliance Prepare and manage all shipment documentation, including Air Waybills, commercial invoices and packing lists, ensuring full compliance with international shipping and customs regulations.

• Customs Clearance Coordination Handle transport documentation to ensure smooth import and export processes at the airport.

• Cargo Consolidation Combine multiple smaller shipments into consolidated loads to optimize transportation costs.

• Cargo Handling & Storage Coordination Oversee packaging, warehousing and transportation to and from the airport.

• Insurance & Risk Management Arrange cargo insurance and manage transportation-related risks.

• Special Cargo Handling Ensure safe transport of sensitive, hazardous or time-critical shipments.

• Customer Coordination Respond promptly to customer inquiries and requests related to air freight services while maintaining continuous communication with partners and stakeholders.

• Brand Representation Actively contribute to maintaining DHL's reputation for outstanding customer service and operational excellence.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in air freight forwarding

• Secondary or higher education

• Fluent English (written and spoken)

• Strong communication skills

• Good computer literacy (MS Office)

• Excellent organizational and planning skills

• Team-oriented mindset

• Strong customer focus
