Ocean Import Executive
The incumbent will execute ocean import operations with the objective of operational and service excellence.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Maintain the documentation for the company's Import activities
- Responsible for the permit declaration and clearance delivery required
- Responsible for Import documentation formalities with carriers & Co-loaders
- Responsible for the handling of shipments, ensuring that any of the customer's inquiries are answered.
- In charge of liaising with the company's vendors/suppliers for import shipments
- In charge of the preparation of billing invoices and performing invoice verification when required
- Experience in transshipments & cross-border shipments
- Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Minimum 2-3 years working experience in ocean freight forwarding operations
- Knowledge of cargo clearance permit declaration a plus
