Director Of Quality, Customs & Compliance

Quality Management:

• Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance systems and processes.
• Ensure compliance with international quality standards and industry best practices.
• Lead internal and external quality audits.

Customs & Trade Compliance:

• Oversee customs regulations and ensure adherence to import/export laws.
• Optimize customs procedures to reduce costs and enhance efficiency.
• Maintain strong relationships with government agencies and customs authorities.

Regulatory & Compliance:

• Ensure full compliance with EU and German regulatory requirements.
• Develop and enforce compliance policies and risk mitigation strategies.
• Provide training and guidance to internal teams on compliance matters.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Act as a strategic advisor on compliance and quality-related issues.
• Collaborate with senior management to align compliance initiatives with business goals.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team in the quality and compliance functions.

Other Skills and abilities:

• Experience in logistics, manufacturing, or international trade is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EU and global trade regulations.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with global teams.
