Description
Responsibilities
- To execute the daily air freight import operation
- Execute and prepare documentations (Mawb, Hawb, Manifest, COO)
- To timely update and provide accurate data as per airlines requirement in TMF system.
- Update and send pre-alerts to agents
- Coordinate bookings of air cargo with shippers, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents.
- To arrange cargo collection with transporters if required.
- Arrange shipment deliveries and permit declarations for air import.
- Guide and assist in the Air cargo operation at the terminal if required.
- Respond to all queries over phone and emails timely and with accuracy.
- To communicate and coordinate with each stakeholder for efficient execution of shipments.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
- Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
- Knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Minimum 2-3 years of working experience in Air freight forwarding operations
- Possess experience in air cargo clearance permit declarations
- DG Certification would be an added advantage
- Meticulous, organized, and willing to put the extra effort for tasks completion
- Effective Interpersonal Skills
- Effective communication skills - verbal and written
- 5.5 days (Alternate Saturday)
