Your role:
Are you able to tackle situations analytically and do you enjoy working with the goal of improving processes? Do you like to solve problems and manage different types of stakeholders? Then you could be the person we are looking for for an internship in the role of Warehouse Engineer at our site in Somaglia (Lodi).
What will you do?
- Know the main operational flows of the site
- Support the planning and coordination of resource activities to ensure the achievement of objectives and ensure that warehouse processes take place promptly
- Collaborate with the site's Contract Manager to maintain a high level of service, pursuing the profitability and efficiency of operational flows
- Identify areas of improvement and propose optimizations of operational flows and processes
- Participate in the analysis and monitoring of the main KPIs of the warehouse, ensuring the achievement of established performance metrics and developing reports for the management team
- Promotion of continuous improvement projects, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and operational flows
Requirements:
- Degree in Management Engineering or similar paths
- Ability to implement process improvement initiatives and analysis of Key Performance Indicators
- Excellent knowledge of the office package, particularly Excel
- Excellent knowledge of the English language
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
