Director of Operations

Join our growing organization as the Director of Operations, where you'll lead and elevate the performance of two key distribution centers in Kansas City, MO and Kalamazoo, MI.

Expectations:

• Provide day-to-day leadership and strategic oversight of both operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and compliance.
• Build strong, high-performing management teams to support and sustain operational excellence.
• Partner closely with cross-functional departments to align on goals, KPIs, and customer expectations.
• Monitor and improve warehouse performance through data-driven analysis, forecasting, and proactive problem-solving.
• Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Serve as the liaison between corporate leadership and local teams, effectively communicating goals, initiatives, and performance metrics.
• Travel regularly between both locations as needed.

Qualifications:

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in logistics, warehousing, or distribution (multi-site leadership preferred).
• Strong understanding of operational KPIs, labor management, and inventory control systems.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop diverse teams across multiple locations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Willingness and ability to travel frequently between Kansas City and Kalamazoo.
